Description

A very special limited edition extended in a very short run. This is a student's model made of plastic and metal which has been completely disassembled and re-imagined as if it were found in some eccentric's Victorian library. The base has a faux finish appearance of burled wood with ornate brass fittings. The planets have been distressed and antiqued to look like wood and ceramic. The labels have been painstakingly put together by hand and because of the absurd amount of time and effort required, these will be limited,  keeping the prototype in our own hundred-year-old library, before retiring this model we call "The Sherlock." This model normally requires 4-5 weeks before delivery. We will ship outside of the country at your expense.
This is approximately 9.5" tall and extends about 18" out from the center. It's big and showy. Your kids will fight over this when you die.
It runs on 4 AA batteries (included.) The model is not intended as a nightlight - it automatically shuts off after about 15 minutes. The four smaller planets rotate at a faster speed than the four larger planets which creates an impressive display. We are working on a video, so check back.
